ABOUT

Welcome to SOMA YOGA, where I specialize in private and small group yoga instruction with a focus on alignment-based and therapeutic practices. My aim is to help individuals live an embodied and mindful life through the powerful practice of yoga. At SOMA YOGA, I am dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all individuals, regardless of their physical limitations or injuries.
Paula Trusky is an E-RYT 500 hour certified yoga teacher. She has been teaching since 2006 and practicing since 1997. Paula holds a BA and an MFA in Dance. She is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and since 2013 has worked extensively in outpatient orthopedics specializing in musculoskeletal disorders where she combines manual therapy with yoga and Pilates based therapeutic exercise. She co-leads a 200 hour yoga teacher training locally, at Collective Flow MKE and is currently pursuing her massage therapy certification. Paula holds many movement coaching certifications including personal training and classical Pilates which she allows to influence her yoga practice, however yoga is her first love. For over 20 years she has taught at studios, schools and universities and is now bringing all of that experience directly to you.
